Role
Product Manager
Job description
We are looking for someone who can join our product team and help shape the future of cross-border money movement. You will be one of the earliest members of the product team, and get an opportunity to define our foundational roadmap. To be successful and have fun at Xflow, you should be someone who can,
Think first principles. Our success depends on challenging the status quo and improving things; this is possible only by asking the right questions more often.
Deal with ambiguity. Xflow is a young company, and we often find ourselves at the crossroads with sparse data points, making decisions challenging. It would help if you are comfortable making decisions in ambiguous situations.
Take a stand and explain it. We are not looking for people who excel only at executing someone else's vision. Instead, we want you to have opinions and ideas, and we want you to be able to explain them crisply. We love writing!
Don multiple hats. We are a small team where nobody stays confined to a single role. You should feel excited about taking on additional responsibility.
Be nice under pressure. While we are not a typical start-up that operates perpetually at a burn-out pace, we must confess that there are times when we sprint at an incredible speed. Being nice to people around you is a baseline expectation in any situation.
Basic qualification:
You have about 5 years of experience in product management, where you have worked closely with engineers and designers.
You either have some background in computer science or are comfortable with technology.
Role Scope
While the role scope will remain fluid, you will start your work with our cross-border online payments stack. Payment Links, one of our premium products, allows Indian exporters to collect payment from their international customers via online payment methods like net banking. You will define every aspect of this experience - supported currencies and payment methods, new country launches, risk rules, processing fees, and downstream reconciliation workflows.
